We were tasked with creating a concept and products for Skanska Safety Week. An annual event for Skanska globally, aimed at involving everyone on the subject of safety. The challenge was to find a unifying factor and natural ‘reminder’ on the theme of safety.
A clear message that encourages people to talk about and share their thoughts and experiences on safety. The solution was printed messages shaped like a speech bubble, with different messages, such as “I pledge to talk about safety”, that were affixed to products linked to safety. We also created products in the form of a speech bubble that encouraged people to talk about safety with each other.
The speech bubble became a talking point around Skanska that increased communication on safety issues. It became so well-liked that it is now part of Skanska’s basic collection.
